Getting the best scan

• Shoot both sides of the coin — the obverse and reverse together give the year, mint mark and country.
• Fill the circle and keep the coin in focus; avoid glare across the lettering.
• Use even, indirect light. Harsh reflections hide mint marks and dates.

About estimated values

Value ranges are automated estimates for general information only. They are not a formal appraisal or investment advice. Real value depends on the coin's condition, authenticity and the current market. For a coin you believe is valuable, consult a professional numismatist or grading service.

About the grading report

The Grading Analysis Report reads wear, luster and surface marks from your photos and expresses them as a grade estimate with a matching price ladder. It is an automated, photo-based condition estimate — not certified grading. Photos cannot capture everything professional graders examine in hand (luster in motion, hairlines, rim details), so treat the grade as a well-informed starting point. For high-value coins, use a professional grading service such as PCGS or NGC before buying or selling.

Subscriptions & billing

• Coinaris Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID.
• Manage or cancel anytime: Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
• Canceling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Reinstalled or switched devices? Open the paywall and tap Restore.

Privacy

We don't store your coin photos on our servers. They're processed by our AI provider to identify the coin, then deleted. Coinaris has no account or login. See the full Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
